Some consider him the father of the modern movie poster, others call him the king of illustrators. One of America's most prolific and respected illustrators and painters, Peak's credits spread the gamut from fashion to sports, from postage stamps to fine art and through some of the most notable movie posters to have ever existed. Starting with West Side Story an ending with Impromptu, including: Apocalypse Now, Camelot, Excalibur, My Fair Lady, Silverado, Superman and the first five Star Trek films.

The artwork of Bob Peak has graced many, Time, TV Guide and Sports Illustrated magazine covers. He has also been selected, along with Norman Rockwell and NC Wyeth, to become a member of the prestigious Illustrators Hall of Fame.
